Signing for Charity! Plus, Bookseller Details

For the first time this year, the Gen Con Writer's Symposium will be joining in raising money for the Gen Con charity partners, the Special Olympics and Game to Grow!

As usual, our authors will be signing at the back of the Exhibit Hall along the back wall near Author's Alley. The new change this year is that tickets are being sold to the signings for $2 a piece, and all proceeds will go to the Gen Con charity partners, the Special Olympics and Game to Grow. These tickets can be purchased at by going to the event listing for the signing of your choice. People who have $2 charity tickets will get the first priority in the signing lines, and then spots will go to generic ticket holders, etc. We love the idea of helping others, and hope you do, too! Let's work together to make our first year with this program a success!

Bookseller info:
Half Price Books will be partnering with us again as our bookseller! They have our full list of author guests, and will be carrying as many books as they can. That being said, if you know there is a particular book you'd like to have signed, we suggest you bring that book with you to the convention so you are sure to have it. The bookseller has a limited amount of space, and can only carry so many books. If the author you would like a signature from is indie published, we also suggest you bring a copy with you--sometimes the bookseller isn't able to get those titles in stock. But last year the bookseller had two locations in the Exhibit Hall, and they had tons of books in stock. We've loved working with Half Price Books and are really glad we have the opportunity to do so again this year.
