Keith Law is the author of the 2017 book Smart Baseball: The Story behind the Old Stats That Are Ruining the Game, the New Ones That Are Running It, and the Right Way to Think about Baseball, published by Harper Collins. He is a senior baseball writer for ESPN Insider and an analyst for ESPN’s Baseball Tonight, focusing on all types of baseball analysis. Prior to joining ESPN, Law spent four and a half years working as a Special Assistant to the General Manager for the Toronto Blue Jays. He also reviews board games for Paste and his other work has appeared on Vulture, Mental Floss, and Ars Technica. He holds a bachelor's degree from Harvard and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon. He currently lives in Delaware.
