Scott Rice-Snow is a GM/Geologist, seminar speaker at gaming conventions, a professor of Geological Science at Ball State University, and has researched and taught in the landscape sciences for more than 35 years.
Scott Rice-Snow is a geomorphologist with expertise in the characteristics of landscapes sculpted by water and glacial ice. As a geology professor at Ball State University in Indiana, he offers courses in landscape science and oceanography, as well as earth science enrichment for fiction writing and other creative media. His research has taken him across the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean, as well as to the U.K. and Australia. In addition to authoring more than 20 academic journal articles and book chapters, he has recently released a PDF book, Look Where You’re Going – Prime Landscape Sites for Storytellers.
